Dear Swiss and Hungarian Friends! Dear Colleagues! Dear Followers!
The time has come, which is a milestone in the life of every ambassador, for me to say goodbye and return to Hungary. After five and a half exciting and successful years, I will end my service as ambassador, thanking our Swiss friends and the Hungarian community in Switzerland for their hospitality and friendship.
The past five and a half years have been an important period in terms of Hungarian-Swiss relations.
Our achievements have contributed to the strengthening of the bilateral relations between Hungary and Switzerland. During my term of office, I have strived to promote cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, culture, science and sister city relations for the benefit of our nations. I am convinced that we have achieved great things together, and I hope that not only we, but also our descendants will be proud of these in the years to come.
I would also like to thank my colleagues for their high-quality, dedicated work over the past years.
I am ending my foreign service in Bern in the hope that my successor, the next Hungarian ambassador, will be welcomed with the same level of cooperation and love as I was.
